Veggies rule! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Okay, I am devoted to my vegitarianism, and I want to share some facts -n- other stuff with you on the subject of veggieism. I know that a lot of teenage vegitarians have parents bugging them night and day about how unhealthy and unsafe being vegatarian is, because all the protien you get is in meat, and if you don't eat meat you won't get enough, and yada yada yada. Yes, I can realte! But here's the real deal for all the parents who think that you have to eat a few metric tons of baked beans every day to fufill you protien needs: unless you are living on a diet of mainly fruits, fats, and sugars, YOU DON'T!! Yup, it is a fact that unless you diet is based on all that un-protien stuff, you are getting enough protien in your diet already. Isn't that cool! NOTE: This does NOT apply to strict vegans, veggitarians who eat NO meat, eggs or dairy. Here's some more facts: Levels of veggieism. 1) Relaxed vegitarian- won't eat red meat, but does eat poultry and/or seafood (I'm one of them. Can't live without my steamed crabs!) 2) Strict vegitarian- won't eat ANY meat 3) Vegan- won't eat meat or use animal products, such as leather. 4) Strict vegan- won't eat meat or eggs or dairy, won't use any animal products That's a pretty rough list; I'm not sure but I think there was another level. Dolphins and Sharks- my obsession | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
Well, I couldn't begin to list all the stuff I have learned in the past few years about sharks, and I know even more about dolphins. You probably know the basics- dolphins use echolocation, there are over 250 species of sharks, yada yada yada. Here's what I'll do: each week I'll post a new Freaky Fact- one on each creature. Want to help? Email me with a weird, cool, true and unusual fact about either dolphin or sharks. Be sure to include your name so I can give you some credit! Also, I'll have a trivia question on either dolphins or sharks. So EMAIL ME! Go for it! | Here's this week's Freaky Facts: A dolphin's sonar, after bouncing back from an object, is recieved through it's forehead! A tiger shark was once found with a full suit of armor in it's stomach! Trivia: What is the smallest species of dolphin? See any stupid mistakes on this page? Email me and I'll fix it right away!
